2 pounds lean ground beef
2 bell peppers – sliced
1 onion – diced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
8 ounces cream cheese – softened
7 slices provolone cheese
dash of salt
dash of pepper
hoagie rolls
1 pack Au jus seasoning packet
butter
Directions
- Philly Meat
- Pre-heat oven to 350°
- Brown ground beef, drain grease
- Add onions and peppers: sauté
- Add Au Jus seasoning packet, garlic, dash of salt and pepper, and cream cheese. Cook until cream cheese is melted
- Pour into greased 9×13 pan, cook for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted
- Sandwiches
- Set oven to broil – high
- Slice hoagie rolls, butter, and season with garlic powder to liking
- Place in oven until butter is melted and hoagies are slightly toasted
- Spoon filling onto hoagies
